OPPORTUNITIES.
Intra Stories digital artist commissions - up to £15k. Now closed.
Could you bring the entertainment history of Intra to life using animation and augmented reality?
We are inviting expressions of interest for two major digital storytelling projects; in the form of hoardings and a ‘zine that use interactivity to engage younger audiences with local heritage.
Please download the commissioning pack. Deadline is midnight, Sunday 17 August 2025.
About - Throughout 2025, Intra Stories has been working with young people to uncover new stories about the entertainment history of The Old High Street Intra, a space between Chatham and Rochester. From the lively theatres and cinemas to the rich music, punk and LGBTQ+ scenes, what our young Digital Archivists captured has been placed into a new online archive. This will inform the making of the commissioned interactive hoardings and ‘zine.
Acknowledgement - Intra Stories is funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and Postcode Society Trust with partner support from Medway Council, Historic Dockyard Chatham and the Intra Community Trust.

Festival 25 Aurora - call for digital art submissions.
Would you like to exhibit your digital work?
We are looking for creatives who would like to showcase existing digital artwork, or work-in progress, around the theme Aurora.
Aurora is the 6th edition of the Festival taking place on 24-26 October 2025. Inspired by nature’s Northern Lights that reached Kent last year, Aurora is a celebration of the wonderment of changing colour, particle energy and ancient ancestry.
This is open to all, but we’re particularly keen to show work from Medway schools, colleges, universities, residents, artists and community groups.
This is an ongoing opportunity and there is no deadline to apply.
To express your interest, please email Janet Moore, CEO - [email protected].
