We had a lot of fun recording a podcast interview with Gordon Lamont, for his series 'The Confidence To Create', providing advice for those working in the arts...

The Confidence to Create series has been developed from Gordon’s experience of delivering workshops for the BBC Academy and Arts Council England's Creative People and Places organisations.

The podcasts focus on discussions between the guest artists and Gordon, and provide guidance for anyone interested in planning a new project, as well as those looking to refresh skills and develop new approaches to working in the creative industries.

​In our SparkedEcho edition, we outline a recent music project Sea Folk Sing (2018), and our approaches to innovation, championing accessibility and working with local communities. We also provide advice around the challenges you could face when working on multiple projects, methods of managing time effectively and communication - and of course, the importance of having a great support network of fellow creatives around you.
