With Electric Medway just weeks away, we're excited to announce two new team members who will help us deliver this amazing digital arts festival. We welcome Georgia Smith as Events Coordinator and Nina Minhard as Social Media Coordinator.
Georgia has worked with Medway Voluntary Action, the Right Step Dance Company and Loop Digital Festival and has a Master’s Degree in Arts Management and Cultural Policy. Nina has worked with Eight Days a Week festival, Galerie EIGEN + ART and has a Degree in Comparative Literature & Cultures and German. Electric Medway is a brand new digital arts festival, produced by SparkedEcho. It is funded by Medway Council and Arts Council England, with support from Medway 2025 and Medway Youth Service. It will feature new commissioned works both outside and online. These will include GPS sound walks, coding workshops, projected film and interactive storytelling. Over 50 Artists and organisations are involved including Dizzy O'Dare, Medway African and Caribbean Association, futureCoders, Manisha Dusila, Cybersaur Arts, Hannah Whittaker, Jane Pitt, John Vincent, LGBTQ+ Creatives, Wordsmithery and Nick Ashton.
