Booking tickets
Electric Medway uses the third-party services, Eventbrite (www.eventbrite.co.uk) and TicketSource (www.ticketsource.co.uk) as the facilities for booking tickets online.
To book tickets for an event, users must login to their Eventbrite or TicketSource account if they are already a member. To register and create an account with Eventbrite or TicketSource, users would need to set-up a user account by creating a unique email and password.
All information provided by you or collected by Eventbrite or TicketSource in connection with the services offered, are governed by the Eventbrite Privacy Policy found at www.eventbrite.com/privacypolicy or the TicketSource Privacy Policy found at www.ticketsource.co.uk/kb/terms-of-use/privacy-policy.
Electric Medway reserves the right to send you emails relating to the specific events you have booked. To view the full Eventbrite or TicketSource terms of service, visit www.eventbrite.com/tos or www.ticketsource.co.uk/kb/terms-of-use/terms-and-conditions.
Errors
Electric Medway acknowledges that is your responsibility to enter any personal information correctly, and will not be held responsible for any inconveniences caused by the supply of incorrect personal information. Similarly, we will not offer refunds on any accidental purchases. It is your responsibility to check that the tickets issued to you are accurate.
Refunds and exchanging tickets
Electric Medway will only guarantee a refund if the event is cancelled by us. Our liability in this case will be limited to the face value of your tickets. If you wish to cancel your booking, you must let us know at least 48 hours before the start of the event, to receive a full refund.
Electric Medway may allow users to request ticket refunds on online ticket purchases through Eventbrite or TicketSource, at our own discretion. To request a refund, users must log into their personal Eventbrite or TicketSource account.
Similarly, to request a refund for any bookings made by email to Electric Medway, please email [email protected] at least 2 working days before the start of the event. Free tickets may be released at any time by the user at no charge.
Concessions
Concession tickets may be available at the time of booking, for the following groups:
• Students
• Over 60's
• People with disabilities
• People on benefits
Payment
Eventbrite and TicketSource use strong encryption methods and key management procedures, to ensure your sensitive information is protected. For online payments processed through Eventbrite or TicketSource, payments can be made securely using American Express, MasterCard, Visa or Visa Debit.
Bookings placed on for a party of people
If you are booking on behalf of a party, you accept these terms and conditions on behalf of all members of your party and are responsible for all payments due from the party.
Age suitability
Unless specified, our events are suitable for all ages. However for most events, those aged 11 and under, are welcome to attend with an accompanying adult. If you are unsure of the suitability of an event for a young person, please send an email enquiry to - [email protected].
Events, workshops and training
Electric Medway cannot cater for specific allergies, medical conditions or access requirements, unless we are informed 1 week before the event. If you have any questions or concerns, please email - [email protected].
Event changes
Electric Medway reserves the right to make any alterations to speakers, event content, event timing and/or event venue, and will make reasonable efforts to contact audience members to inform them of any changes. Electric Medway will not be held liable for any changes made to the advertised event.
Right to refuse and search
Electric Medway reserves the right to refuse you admission if, in its reasonable opinion, your admission to the venue might:
For example, if you act aggressively and/or appear to be under the influence of drink and/or drugs, you will be refused admission. We may also request you to leave (taking any such appropriate action that may be necessary to enforce this right) before or during events for any of the reasons given above. Should you be refused admission or requested to leave you will not be entitled to a refund.
Latecomers
Electric Medway will, in most cases, be able to 'seat' you if you arrive late to an event. However, we reserve the right to refuse you admission if you do not arrive by the start of the event, and a late entry could interrupt a live performance. In the event of this occurring, we will endeavour to find you an alternative seat or performance date, but this cannot be guaranteed.

Filming and recording
When attending an Electric Medway event, audience members consent to being filmed, recorded and photographed. Audience members grant Electric Medway and its partners, the right to use recordings of any type made of their attendance in any and all media, and by means of publicity and promotion relating to the Electric Medway event. School parties and those under 18 years should ensure that appropriate parental permission is obtained, before attendance at any Electric Medway event.
Electric Medway generally welcomes our customers and audience members to take photographs or film during our performances. On some occasions, unauthorised use of photographic, sound or film equipment may be prohibited, and customers will be informed at the start of each performance, if this is the case.
If you wish to use recording equipment and are unsure if it will be permitted during the performance, please email - [email protected], prior to the start of the event. The copyright is assigned to Electric Medway for any sound or visual recordings of events, produced by Electric Medway and its partners.
Electronic equipment
All electronic equipment, especially mobile phones, should be set to silent mode before the start of an event, when based in a venue and/or any other spaces where live events are taking place.
Smoking
Electric Medway operates a non-smoking policy at any venue accommodating an Electric Medway event. Notices on designated smoking areas, break allowances and safety advice will be detailed at the beginning of each event.
