In 2025, Electric Medway turns 10!
There is lots to celebrate and spotlight over the coming months.
It is therefore twinged with sadness to announce that Co-Founder and Executive Director Kevin Grist will be leaving the organisation later this year, with a strong legacy of work.
Kevin’s decision to step down is also an important signal that Electric Medway is offering the structural change needed to enable diverse female leadership and space for our young team to flourish.
Co-Founder Janet Moore will take on sole role of Director.
As we guide a year of change, a big thanks to our team, artists, volunteers, Advisory Board, funders and partners for helping us continue to deliver this vital work.

WE ARE 10! will include:
- A £10k fundraiser for our Young Hack programme - of which Kevin, the outgoing Executive Director - will raise £1k doing an endurance challenge.
- 10 Festival commissions. Spotlighting new and diverse works
- Social media campaign, with beneficiaries and artists telling their stories of how Electric Medway has supported or inspired them over the last 10 years.
- Launch of our new 3-year strategy.
